The Money Plant

Headline:Michael Jackson Died today, it came as a shock to me as he was just 50 an was rehearsing for his comeback tour which was supposed to be started on 14th of July

Does anyone know why this plant is called the Money Plant?                Well Not because if grows money on it, no it doesn’t.

So why the hell it is called “The Money Plant”?

Anyone in the Class?, No! Well Let me tell you then.

It is called the money plant simply because it has round, plump, flat leaves that might, with a bit of imagination, look like a coin! This plant is usually kept as a dwarf in the house but can be grown in the garden too. — Mahendra Rawat, via e-mail. I got this answer while searching on net.

After reading this, I went to my the Balcony where we have got two money plants, which grow faster than my hairs. Anyways, I went there and applied my Imagination at max, unfortunately, I couldn’t figure it out. I mean couldn’t imagine money on my plant.

There is one more reason they call it money plant, i am not sure about other countries, but in India, I have seen people talking that if they have money plant in their Homes, they will never run out of money.

What the hell, how foolish it is. Oh wait, they are at my home also, two of them, maybe they are for decoration stuff.

But, if its true, We should place them at BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange).
